HATCH is creating a product that pushes the boundaries of fashion. Because that’s our aim: to digitize wholesale fashion for good through the HATCH Digital Showroom (trust us, it’s needed!).

In our small organisation, we enjoy complete internal transparency. You are always in the loop from business to technology.

As a full-stack engineer, you will be solving business problems with the help of technology. Together with Product Management, Design and fellow developers, you will be designing and implementing new capabilities, maintaining services in a good shape, coaching other team members.

What about you?

You are experienced in the end-to-end tech stack - from the infrastructure side to the browser quirks.

You are up to the challenge of formalizing best practices, keeping the culture, and coaching the team.

When it comes to writing code you balance engineering productivity and code quality. You value readability and maintainability more than some abstract rules and are ready to stand for you decision.

No need for long motivation letters, the only thing we would like to hear when you apply, is WHY? Why HATCH and why this role?

The first step in the procedure is a ‘coffee chat’ where you’ll connect with a HATCH team member by phone or video call. This gives you an opportunity to learn about HATCH and the role and us an opportunity to get to know you.

We will ask you to show some code. If you have a cool project (on Github) - that might be enough. Otherwise, we will ask you to do a small assignment.

Next step is the interview phase. There is a technical interview, where you’ll meet two engineers, and the one with the Head of Product & Head of Design.
